Simulation Research on Energy Saving of Hydraulic System in Hybrid Construction Machinery
Abstract
In this paper, energy savings of the serial and parallel hybrids applied in construction machinery are estimated and compared. Theoretical calculation of the fuel consumption and estimation of the energy saving are implemented for a system composed by motor energy regeneration, separate driving, motor-directly-driving rotary actuator, meter-out control and parallel hybrid system. The results can be used to estimate energy saving in construction machinery. Considering the factors of manufacturing cost, operation performance and component performance, etc. a new system combining all above mentioned methods except for motor energy regeneration is put forward as the current main developing program.
